Dr. Harry Reeder
Harry L. Reeder is Senior Pastor at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama. He is married to Cindy, and they have 3 children and 10 grandchildren. An increasing amount of his time is devoted to leadership development. Pastor Reeder published a book called The Leadership Dynamic. He is devoted to the ministry of Church Revitalization hosting multiple “Embers to a Flame Conferences” both nationally and internationally each year. He is the author of From Embers to a Flame – How God Can Revitalize Your Church.
Dr. Stephen Estock
Stephen is the Coordinator for the Committee on Discipleship Ministries of the PCA. Before being elected to that position, he served in pastoral roles at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, AL (1995-2002) and Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, MO (2002-2013). In addition to pastoral ministry, Stephen has taught classes at a number of seminaries in the areas of Practical Theology, Education, and Church Government. Before seminary, he served as an Intelligence Officer in the USAF. Stephen and his wife Susan have three adult children.
Tim has been an elder in his congregation for many years and which they have been a part of since 1993. He has been married to Deborah for 45 years with three grown, married children and 12 grandchildren. He is an entrepreneur, investor, and business owner mentoring and apprenticing young men and women for better than three decades. In the course of that process, he has helped these young men and women start over 100 businesses. In their local area, Tim heads up a non-profit that serves abused mothers and children – with 80% of their cases coming from within the Protestant community. In addition, they have been active for a number of years in helping to fight human and sex trafficking while offering opportunities for healing and recovery for those who have been harmed by this evil behavior. He sees the role of an elder as a function – not an office.
